MYSS (ROC TRAX)
MYSS is a huge, massive Japanese electro band, performing under Roc Trax leading label. Usually shaking up major clubs as Womb and Ageha, and everywhere through out Japan, they also had a breath-taking show at FUJI ROCK Festival 2009 and supported BOYS NOIZE during his POWER Japan Tour (November 2009).
And Myss will come back in 2010 even stronger, with the release their first album “No 10 Punch”.
Careful! Be prepared! Myss will bomb Pitchoun dancefloor on Friday 29th.
Electro track maker unit ! 08年 NewGenerationの新旗手として名乗りを上げる、TSUBAMEとMASAYASUの２人によるDJ Bandユニット。
ジャンルにとらわれずに様々な音楽を柔軟に吸収し、MYSSという独特なフィルターを通し発信する多種多様な音像は、あらゆる形でその場の空間の彩りを演出させている。DJのみならず楽曲制作やリミックスも精力的に行っており、MYSSのトラックは世界中のDJやElectro Kidsを魅了する事は間違いないであろう。
また、MYSSの楽曲をDEXPISTOLSやTHE LOWBLOWSなど、現在注目のアーティスがRemixを手掛け話題を集めている。Tokyo Electroシーンをリードする存在として注目を集めるアーティストであり、様々なDJやProducerから大きな期待を寄せられている。2010年3月には待望のフルアルバムリリースが予定されている！

M.S.K. started spinning in 1994, as well as composing music.
He’s been playing under many different names such as M.S.K., MAGDARISE(+DJ MAAR), KAMIKAZE-TOWN(+TURTLE YEAH!) and both produces and remixes works. His tunes that have roots in PUNK, ROCK, ELECTRO, HIP HOP are MUST to be listened.
He’s well evaluated mainly in Europe and the tune “Side Story” recorded a smash hit and was ranked in the Electronica chart in Beatport(the world’s most famous dance music download site.)
His works, “CONTACTI” as M.S.K. and “WILDSIDE AGAIN” as MAGDARISE are contained in the compilation of ROC TRAX -LESSON.05 “SATURDAYS”- released in December 2008. His 1st full album “MASK MASK MASK” is about to be released on January 20th 2010 (INSTITUBES!) together with the ROC TRAX label compilation [LESSON.06 "ROC TRAX JAM"].
1994年よりDJ、音楽制作活動を開始。 M.S.K., MAGDARISE(＋DJ MAAR), KAMIKAZE-TOWN(＋TURTLE YEAH!)などの名義で多数のプロデュース、リミックスを手掛ける。自身のルーツである、PUNK,ROCK,ELECTRO,HIP HOPの要素を加え展開するTUNEは要必聴!! DJ及びダンスミュージックのネクストステージへの挑戦を続ける。 2008年春、フランスはパリのニュースクールなレーベル”Institubes”より日本人初としてEP “M.S.K. / LUNAR”をリリース!! ヨーロッパを中心に高い評価を受け、同収録曲”Side Story”は世界最大ダウンロードサイト”Beat Port”エレクトロニカ部門で10位にチャートインするなど世界的大ヒットを記録。
08年12月リリースのROC TRAXのレーベルコンピLESSON.05“SATURDAYS”にもM.S.K./CONTACTI、MAGDARISE/WILEDSIDE AGAINが収録されている。2010年1月20日には初のフルアルバム『MASK MASK MASK』のリリース(INSTITUBES!) が決定している。国内外を問わず今後ますますの活躍が期待されるDJだ。
